OBJECTIVES
Research is the backbone of Higher Education. Research cell aims to nurture research culture in the institute by promoting research in newly emerging and challenging areas of commerce and management. It encourages the Undergraduate candidates to undertake the research in newly emerging frontier areas of commerce including multidisciplinary fields. This enhances the general research capability of the students by way of participating in conferences, seminars, workshops, project competition, etc.

Workshop on Avishkar Research Convention;2018-19 was organized by Department of the student, the University of Mumbai at Tolani college of commerce, Andheri (East), Mumbai for II District /Zone on September 2018. Shah Prachi from F.Y.B.Com, Division- B, participated with Dr. Reshma A Vaja. The workshop aimed at making students and faculty aware of Avishkar and thereby motivating them to participate in the research competition.

Presentation in KES College
KES Shroff College of Arts and Commerce has organized National Level Intercollegiate Student Research Conference on ‘A Road Map to Indian Economic Development’ on 4th September 2018 students from B.Com, BMS and BMS participated and presented a paper in the conference with great enthusiasm and joy.

In order to train and direct new faculty and students of the college on 1st March 2019 Research cell has organized guiding lecture on ‘How to write research paper’. College B.Com, BMS and B.Sc.IT faculty and students participated in knowledge gaining. College senior faculty Miss Tapasya Joshi guided everyone.
